This is a personal project for me because I played on the record. The Osiris Club wanted a sleeve that evoked a memory of Kit Williams treasure hunt book from the 1970s, ‘Masquerade’. The title is from the Arthurian/ Welsh medieval myth ‘Gawain and the Green Knight’. I wanted to have the chapel itself as a kind of living nature. The songs on the record draw subjects from this story and a number of myths and ghost stories. These subjects are clues in the landscape about the chapel including the Herne the Hunter image on the rear of the cover.
